im back, yet again

Don't worry, I'm not some kind of 'blogger ghost' that keeps randomly (or magically) returning...but I can assure that I'm back on this blog-for sure :D.  My last post was extremely long ago, I don't even know how to start this post.  It feels weird, though!! Remembering the good ol' days when I was obsessed over blogger, and this screen where all my text+pictures would go, was like second nature to me.

Well, I'll start by introducing myself in case you guys have forgotten me.
Hey there, I'm Alex!  Thirteen years old, with an addiction for photography.  I'm a very crazy, fun, and random teenager.  I go to sleep listening to music through my earbuds, and I love making my friends laugh.  My world revolves around friends, family, pumpkin pie from bakers square, photos, and most importantly: Christ.

A few things that you guys should mentally note:

1. I finally bought my own DSLR!  If you've read this blog before, you would know that I've been saving up for a DSLR for about two years;..until I got enough money to buy an Olympus E-510, with 14mm-42mm lens.  !!!!Party Time!!!! *woot woot!*  I can't really describe how I felt when I first got it in the mail...I just know that I was so proud of myself for earning it, not to mention how grateful I was for God being able to present me with this amazing camera!
2. With that being said, I'm comparing the pictures taken with this Olympus, to my mom's old point and shoot.  It's as simple as comparing 10 pounds of gold, to 10 pounds of poo.  To start fresh, I've deleted everything on this blog :)
   Old readers: you might see some old favorites re-posted from my mom's point & shoot :).
3. Also, to make sure that this doesn't happen again (being energized to go on blogger the first few days, and then turning into an awesome ninja and silently disappearing for months), 99.9% of my posts will be on Wednesdays...unless there's something very urgent that I gotta tell you guys.  So remember, there'll be a new post every Wednesday! (starting next week)
4. I've had this blog design for yeaaaarrrssss...anyone know a place where I can get free makeover? ;)
5. Pillow pets are amazing.  'Nuff said.

So.  I'm REALLY excited to show you my photography (and my life) through this blog! My apologies for being gone for such a long time...it was certainly more than a vacation.  I've been busy+too lazy to start on blogger; until one of my best friends randomly called me today, saying that "I have real talent...my pictures are beautiful..." and that she was inspired by my blog, which she had just so happened to be on earlier today.  She made my day.  Oh how I love my friends :D
